Just being sarcastic, but if storms like this persist, it's definitely going to be well into Spring before I can prep an outdoor bed.

I inoculated these 6 quart PP5 containers on 12/26/14. I honestly think Psi azurescens mycelium does better (faster) colonizing airy substrates like rye berries/wood chips; then small, compressed substrates such as sawdust/BRF seem to take a lot longer to colonize, as seen here (sawdust/woodchips).

I'm really hopeful with this Psi azurescens spawn - it's really tearing through the wood chips and cardboard. MUCH faster than my past attempts, maybe the agar/iso work paid off?

Yeah - funny you say that, it also crossed my mind that when someone sends you something in a trade, often times, they could pretty much label it whatever and you might not know until you grow it out, at least with species within the same genus in this case.
