Possible Mold growth on filter paper?

So, what I've read is that your supposed to keep shrooms at a constant humidity of about 90-95%. Now, I'm currently in the mycelium growth phase, and they are still in their cakes with the lids on. I've also read that it's good practice to put some filter paper over the lid of the cakes, or on the air holes drilled on the side of the chamber, in order to keep contamination to a low. But, considering the 95% humidity, that basically keeps everything really moist in the chamber, wouldn't that just attract mold to surfaces like the filter paper? I currently am about 3 days into my first grow, and I see no mold growing, but the paper I'm using is pretty wet, and I'm just wondering if mold growing on that paper is really a concern. I'm just using tissue paper cause I read that the paper needs to be breathable

So if i read this right you put wet tissues over your colonizing cakes?
-------------------- The mushroom speaks: '"I am old, older than thought in your species, which is itself fifty times older than your history. Though I have been on earth for ages I am from the stars. My home is no one planet, for many worlds scattered through the shining disc of the galaxy have conditions which allow my spores an opportunity for life... How the hypercommunication mode operates is a secret which will not be lightly given to man. But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the biosynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiots the vision screens to many worlds"

Also you don't need to worry about humidity in your colonization phase, apart from being careful to keep it dry enough that your dry vermiculite layer doesn't get moist enough for mold spores to germinate.

In most things I've read it's said to keep the humidity high during colonization as well as mushroom growth

Keep the humidity high INSIDE the jar, the outside is minimally relevant.

Yeah I don't even know why we talk about humidity during colonization. There is moisture in the jar. Leave it there.

Alright, Ill keep that in mind. But I'm still wondering about the filter paper and stuff

Well, I can tell you that if you'd ever grown P. ostreatus in your house there's a good chance it would already be colonizing.

Wait keep the humidity high inside the jar? Like should I open it up and spray it? I've never heard of humidity inside the jar being important just humidity inside the chamber

Don't worry about either. The cake will take care of humidity inside the jar. Don't put them in too damp an environment if you can help it.
