Torch seeds germinate pretty quick without all the science. It's just that later they need to be kept at about 70 degrees and misted every other day, kept out of the sun for a year, with diffused light, and basically just nurtured like all cactus seedlings. If they get to much heat they fry, too much hot humidity they cook.
