So you obviously didn't lurk here before posting this, and you're clearly not a puppet. Both indicated by your use of SWIM.
What reason are you posting this in this community for? Why didn't you just stick with Bluelight or wherever youre from?
Sure it's a shit situation but it happens to a lot of people, sorry your wife is a bitch.

Yep. An age-old epic story, older than teamkiller with sequels, prequels and everything in between.
Sorry teamkiller, you're just wrong.

I don't give a fuck if you think random people on the shroomery are more credible than more information sources. personally i believe like, science and shit over what some people on the shroomery think.

The article fails when it tries to differentiate between "addictions" and what they call "pseudoaddictions from suboptimal pain management". What you don't realize is how often patients are actually subject to "suboptimal pain management", which makes the entire article moot.
You can test this by trying to tell a doctor how to do his job.

It isn't like you didn't just read your "facts" on a Wiki page and then regurgitate it. Now you are just trying to find studies that defend your "facts", regardless of how flawed they may be.

I'm not trying to argue with you, I've just never seen anyone be so wrong. You are like a news reporter that knows 0% about drugs and states outrageous claims.

I didn't, I already told you wikipedia only has 1 line relating to this and it says citation needed. My opinion is related to everything i've heard in my life about pain management with opiates.
Stop shit talking and find me some sources.

He apparently isn't coming back, unless he is just reading this without responding. Hasn't relogged since his first post. This thread is about the power pain has to negate addiction now.
One thing I can say is that if I get actually sick, or have some crisis happen in my life, withdrawals seem to fade into the background a bit until I get a handle on things. I imagine it is similar for people who are in extreme pain, withdrawal symptoms seem alot softer by comparison.
The thing about most withdrawals is that if you can find a way to take your mind off it, things are so much better. If you never get it into your head that you are hooked, and opiates are the fix, of course it is going to be easier to get off, but there is no way to judge who will think like this and who wont.
Some pain patients handle withdrawals remarkably well. Some recreational users handle withdrawals remarkably well. Some people use actual pain as an excuse to get high. Some people discover that opiates effectively treat their symptoms through recreational use and end up becoming legit patients. There are so many variables that both sides of this argument are probably true to some extent, so I do think people should hear all sides of the story and be able to make up their own mind.
Unfortunately the entire notion of drugs seems to be broken beyond hope in our society so it doesn't matter anyway. Soon we will all be on pills that we don't understand for reasons that don't always make sense, because that is how capitalism works in terms of medicine.
