Depending on the pore shape, it's either that or Trametes cubensis.

A focused photo of the pore surface would help.

Can Trametes cubensis be found as far north as Maryland?

I think so, it's been found in Virginia. There's not as much information available on this species compared to the other white rots.

We could also consider T. elegans too. Many white rots are so similar it's tricky to say without knowing the host tree and seeing the pores.
