I apologize.
This is your post after all, and I shouldn't pass judgment on your guru. I will stop posting in here if that is your wish.

I'm sorry that you didn't get what you wanted out of spirituality but there are others out there not as jaded as you.
I'm trying to focus on giving others self realization so for me to entertain your criticisms serves little purpose.

They are tolerated within the forum but the OP specifically requested they not enter this particular thread. And although differing opinions are allowed, this forum is also specifically dedicated to a more respectful approach with regards to discussion. So in that vein, respect the OP request and keep it out of this thread.

I get out of spirituality what is in it to begin with. If someone is not underwhelmed by their beliefs with a need to shut down any questioning or critiquing of those beliefs to protect them then spiritually has let them down.
In effect you cannot give others self realization imo. Who do you think you are?

I have. I've made no critique of whatever it is he's into these days.

I'm sure Sahaja Yoga is great and can act as a wonderful form of meditation. But I'd be careful for anyone to consider their personal path as "the" path. There are hundreds of forms of meditation and spiritual traditions and they all can produce the same effects. 'There is more than one path up the mountain.'
I'm personally weary to get involved with any spiritual institutions because humans tend to, well, be humans and that group-power-structure mentality can get out of hand. With that said, your little group could be awesome as well - Just be careful. It seems too many beliefs about reality just gets us caught up in our own head. The "truth" or what have you is always right in front of us - it can't be thought up for some future time.

Yup. I've just had way more benefit from it than anything else.
I really don't think that other traditions can do the same thing. I honestly believe that the meditation in the OP will awaken your Kundalini and that without this awakening meditation can only be a mental activity.
There's a multi page thread right now for people giving tips on how to not get bored while meditating and how to endure their practice for more than 10 minutes at a time... I'm pretty sure I'm not alone among Sahaja Yogis (by any small measure) to say that this kind of thing hasn't bothered me at all since after a few months of daily meditation and foot soaking. And obviously the meditations in the beginning period were enjoyable enough for me to keep the practice daily for that long.
