truffles

I have some fully colonized and some partially colonized bags. They were inoculated. Over 6 months ago. None of them smell or look contaminated. My question is can I still have truffles in the not  completely colonized bags?

I want to leave the fully colonized bags for further maturity. If the incomplete ones can be harvested I'll post pics of any truffles.

If you have had them for that long and they are still not colonized, there is a problem.

But they just smell like mycelium through the filter patch. No fermenting smell no odd color. They are like 90% colonized some are fully colonized

I don't see any non-colonised regions in the photo... nor any truffles.

This is six months' growth of which species?

While sclerotia producers are normally slow, 6 months is too long. The white myc is also suspect.  IME even the poorest stone producing genetics will still brown after a few months. Even species in section mexicana that are not considered stone producers like samuinensis will have brown patches and produce pseudo sclerotia. Those do not look right IMO.

I have my large 10qt bags colonized after a month with agar. If they have taken this long to even colonize even from spore then there is an issue as stated above.
