Timing Your Tea Could Alter the Aya

Im thinking there are two distinctly different approaches, or pathways to the effects of husca agree with me or not, I am saying this with an interpretation that your original mindset going into your trip unleashes what ever possible outcomes that may come your way.
The effects of said maoi, presumably caapi are either taken at the same time as or before the dmt kicks in. (In most cases)
So does it sound reasonable to say one can feel the maoi first then be introduced to the dmt realm Or choose to drink the p. virdis or said dmt containing plant first then drink the maoi to feel a different "come up" style to the trip
Has anyone noticed a difference in there timings???
seems to me that taking say rue first creates a sort of rush come up when the dmt kicks in,(hits you stomach acids already accepting the dmt to melt into the bloodstream
on the other hand taking the p virdis or dmt plant first will ease you into the trip more so than its opposite due to the maoi being absorbed more slowly than the virdis

I know that Im saying if you take the dmt plant first and feel the slower maoi comeup it would alter the experience since the dmt dosent activate as quickly as the maoi so the slower presence of the maoi would uncover the dmt as slowly as the maoi takes to kick in

Taking the DMT about 40 minutes after the MAOI causes the DMT to hit about twice as strong becuase less of it gets destroyed in the gut while waiting for the MAOI to become active. The negatives are that the comeup is harsher and the DMT trip is shorter until the MAOI is no longer active.
Taking them at the same time causes a gentler comeup, a longer trip, and of course a weaker trip.
I haven't tried taking the DMT BEFORE the MAOI. I would imagine it would be even weaker.

Not necessarily. For all you know, four minutes is sufficient to deactivate the necessary area of intestinal monoamine oxidase. What you're neglecting to realize is that MAOIs significantly modifies all psychedelics;* and waiting 45 min. would allow the MAOI to affect the brain. Perhaps 120 min. is the point at which the harmine peaks. If one were to take the DMT at T-120 min., the hit would be even stronger.
I've done low dose oral DMT using the MAOI, Parnate (warning: experimental territory). I waited three whole hours before I took the DMT because a chem book said that Parnate takes between 1-3 hours to peak, depending on the individual.

*LSD taken with the MAOI, moclobemide:
rtg: Yes, I've tried several times LSD and moclo combo. The doses were for LSD: from 150 to about 400ug; for moclo 300-450mg. No negative effects noted
ismene: What did you think of LSD and moclo? Did you notice much difference to a standard LSD trip?
rtg: Little more physical stimulating than normal LSD trip, the effects on psychic were rather normal, except that it was harder and longer. Moclo is an inhibitor, which in itself has no psychoactive effect, so there is no effect on experience

Da2ra, in my experiments, 'at the same' was actually anywhere from 5-15 minutes apart due to the amount of time it took me to retrieve the DMT plant solution, encourage myself, and get it down.

Your above post means nothing. What I said in my above post is that you didn't necessarily enable more DMT to reach the brain in your 45 min. experiment, but rather you experienced amplified effects as a result of the systemic MAOI activity. Systemic MAOI activity is absent at T-5 min.
