first timer using Midwest Mega kit. Should I dunk and/or case?

Hi there folks:
I'm a first timer and have had great success in incubating. 20/24 jars 95% inoculated after 23 days. I am using the midwest mega kit with Hydroponic Humidifier with the HEPA filer hose and hydroton and am preparing to birth the cakes.
My question is should I dunk the cakes in a bag for 18-23 hours before placing in growing chamber?
And should I case the cakes in vermiculite or some other mix before/after dunking?
Or is this un-necessary since I'll be using the Hydroponic Humidifier with the HEPA filer hose and hydroton?
My last question is should I wait until the jars are 100% colonized before birthing? or even leave them for a few days after 100% colonization?
much thanks for your insights on these issues.
with much excitement and anticipation at watching pure magic happen! onward and upward

wait 7-10 days after 100% colonization. throw away the junk humidifier, hepa and hydroton and build a sgfc with perlite.
first rinse, then dunk the cakes for 24 hrs in a big bin or pot with normal tap water, rinse again, roll in dry verm, place in sgfc and mist with water.

Spacechildo: I travel for up to a week at a time. Doesn't that make SGFC an impossibility for me? Whats the minimum misting intervals for sgfc? Remember, this is my first time out!

the daily fanning and misting of an SGFC can be omitted if absolutely necessary. however, if I was to do this, I would fully hydrate my perlite before I left every week.
