Wahaha, WTF! That looks weird yet kinda cool at the same time.
Your myc lifts, certainly a strain to isolate and clone! Imagine what the mushies will do.
Has the agar perhaps dried up a bit? Otherwise I have no clue. I myself am now curious too. I still think it looks kinda cool.

Some of my plates start to do that after I let them go long enough. I assume it's just the mycelium drawing in moisture and nutrients and changing the shape of the agar disc.
On that note, anything that consumes nutrients like that will probably produce lots of fruit quickly, or they'll be potent. Or neither.

Which is another way of saying "I have no fucking idea what that mycelium is gonna do"

Well, nutrient consumption is usually directly associated with fruiting vigor. But it could always end up routed somewhere else that's less visible.

Think I'm gonna make some transfers from that dried up plate.
I already have one culture from it growing well on agar, would there be a problem with just dropping this dried out portion right onto grains?

It will usually work. Tiger drop that and it should rehydrate and take off

The sclerotia jars on the tiger drop tek were inoculated with pasty plates that were completely dried and curled and rattling around. The agar and mycelium will rehydrate.
As long as your grains aren't completely bone dry.

Hehehe, hehe, HEHEHEHE. Guys.
Guys.
You remember that fat APE clone on agar that keeps pinning?
Look what happens if I give it light.

Got 6 jars of this clone in a tub 97% colonized. It has pins already but there's a small spot on the bottom that's uncolonized.

Dude I have no idea but it's surely impressive. That big of a fruit from like a tablespoon of diluted potato flakes.
