Green patch in fruiting monotub
    #21060963 - 01/03/15 01:23 PM (9 years, 4 months ago)

I've noticed trich in my monotub and need some advice on how to handle it, there's about 30 fruit bodies about 2 days away from being mature in my tub, should I pick them and toss the cake out ?

How would I go about removing the fruits without spreading the green death? Outside is not a option. I'm in a apartment building and its freezing rain outside ( not to mention its fucked bringing a tub full of mold out in the complex.)

Can I scoop out the green patch with a steril knife and spoon ? Is it saveable?

Salt paste the trich and let the flush finish.

Just salt and water? Will pink salt work?

The point of the last paste is to essentially stop the spreading of the spores into the air, and to slow the growth of the mold long enough for the flush to finish.

Pink salt will work as long as the consistency isn't like rock salt. Fine salt works best.

Make it into a paste and apply.
