You can use all the coir and verm and all of that together. No matter what your spawn ratio is your C/V will always be the same. You want enough to have 2-1/2 - 3" of sub and then mix your grains and then a very small 1/4" layer to cover any exposed grains and then make suer it's level.

so could you get away with 3 20qt tubs with 1qt spawn and the basic coir prep in the tek i was shown?
or am i going to need 3 bricks of coir and 3 times the amount of very

it really depends on how tall your tub is...even though most are about the same....

so should we use the coir/verm or the coir/verm/gypsum, can the method with the gypsum also be prepared using bucket tek. whats the benefits of using the gypsum?

If you have the money I'd suggest just using what you have now in 1 tub. And practice while studying agar/g2g and so on.. Just my 2 cents though take what you will.
It all depends if you have the money for more syringes. PM me and I will provide you a link to a book that is incredibly informative.

I have two more syringes of different species... i just hate waiting for them to colonize after the knock
4 (20qt tubs) a good supply of jars, 4 colonized jars of WBS, some leftover WBS, a SAB, 2 big ass bags of verm, only thing i really need is coir possibly some gypsum and some polyphil. debating on wether or not to get the EZ felt for the new lids for the gtg or to just stick with the tyvek and do a double layer of it as the film.
also got some leftover shotgun tubs from the last couple pf tek grows.

If you have enough to make a few mini tubs at once I highly recommend doing that vs putting all your eggs in one basket.
You're GOING to have some degree of failure, but that doesn't mean that it has to completely put you out of the game.
I would have made mini tubs for my first mono grows if I had known how easy it ended up being. One quart jar per 20 qt tub, fill it up about 2-3 inches with coir/verm, add your grain spawn, and mix. With 5 jars, you have 5 different chances to get an ounce. Might need 2 bricks to be able to do them all the same size, but you'll get more that way than you would from making a big tub with 5 jars and letting the dice roll with contams.

Gypsum is not necessary but if you have it, go ahead and use it. I don't measure the verm myself, but I'd say I only use about a cup or two of verm in each tub, so about half a quart, around there.

Yea I didn't specify, If you have 4 go ahead and do that. My only point was that, myself personally, would skip the g2g for right now.
If you want to g2g I'd suggest inoculating a couple of jars with one of the other syringes you have (depending on how many jars you have) with g2g it's pretty much 1/10 of a g2g jar to regular grain jar to inoculate.
You seem to have it down pretty good to this point and am sure that whatever route you choose, you will succeed. Good luck
