sorry we don't all have the ability to just blow our parents' money on traveling wherever the hell we feel like whenever the hell we feel like it
yeah times a million. sorry sara, but you really arent allowed to say what you just did. 99% of us in this scene all pay for our own shit and its expensive
northeast has some pretty heady festivals tho, farmfest in NJ and Great North in maine are prob ur best bets for the northeast. those festivals are real as shit. theres "the big dub" in PA as well ive heard good things about
also camp bisco is coming back and will probly be back in NY but will def be in the northeast. that place doesnt fuck around. a true fucking rager. more than almost any fest in the US
and if u like jam theres mtn jam and vibes but those def arent my style. ahhhhh i wish the big up was still around. bella terra is pretty fuckin legit too, def a nice mix of jam and dubstep and other electronic. seriously dont count out bella terra. might be perfect for ya
then for edm theres ezoo, edc, and mysteryland. i went to ML last year and it was decent but im only goin back if the lineup is motherfuckin fire. last year ML was like everyones first festival and its cool to be at ur first fest, u gotta start somewhere but it sucks when like the whole crowd is at their first fest. but production wise that place was pretty fuckin sweet. and the speakers were fuckin top notch
theres also moonrise in baltimore. its all dubstep/trap with a little jam. it was actually a half decent festival
northeast has a lot of legit fests

haha pretty much this
on a serious level, camp bisco rages harder than almost any fest in the US. if you wanna party hard and see some seriously awesome music, go to camp bisco

I have also hit gathering of the vibes past 4 years, summer camp twice, mountain jam once, and a few smaller ones. Of them all catskill chill has the best vibe, purely magical and very special indeed. Real sense of community. Gathering of the vibes is really cool too but in a different way. Much larger and a lot more people.
yeah catskill def tried to kinda take up the spot the big up left empty. they def had some legit names there last year. pretty sure i saw shpongle on that lineup
im not into jam but if catskill can book some more names like that then i could def see myself making it there this year

i dont think theres any northeast spring festivals
and after hudsons disaster last year, that sealed camps fate. it will def be the same old camp bisco. bassnectar and other electronic with plenty of jam and funk/reggae. itll be legit
after hitting other festivals last year, i never really noticed it, but camp bisco does shit right. basically no rules and dance tents go til like 4 am

yeah its up there for sure. but soooo heady lol. like for reals tho. booking 2 tipper sets there last year was a huge deal
the only gay thing about farmfest is that music officially stops at 11 pm, which is bullshit
a fest like that shud be all at night. kinda sucks so much of it is during daytime. we all know the freaks come out at night
