CC as a standalone substrate?
    #2105470 - 11/14/03 10:36 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Well, i was curious as to the effectiveness of cracked corn as a standalone substrate... Would it be worth casing a couple of quarts, or perhaps better to fridge the completed ones in wait for the required amount for a buld substrate?
As far as the bulk substrate innoculation ratios...is the 1:5 i've seen thrown around as a maximum innoculant to bulk referring to weight? Total volume? Just curious.
Stay Frosty.

You would want to add some damp vermeculite to the mix to give it a larger water content.
