I recently moved back to Florida and I live right next to a nature reserve with a ton of different species of mushrooms. Some of which I believe are psychedelic but I cant tell for sure. How would I go about finding the right ones out of the groups of mushrooms to tell if they were indeed psychedelic or not? I dont have access to any cow pastures nearby, so fields are out of the question for me for now atleast. :/

Never seen anything like it. translucent white stalk, dark blue/purple cap. it seems to be oozing goodness.

something Coprinoid is my guess...probably not "oozing goodness" but rather they're autodigesting themselves. watch them and if they deliquesce then that be them.

Yeah, Panaeolus antillarium aren't active. You might be thinking of Panaeolus/Copelandia cyanescens. Did the fruits you ate bruise blue?

Looks like I'll be taking an unwanted break from mushroom hunting :'( crazy day yesterday.... so, I went on a hunt yesterday. Wasn't finding too much that I haven't already been seeing for a month so I decided to go get some actives... all was good, picking some nice cubes and a few Copes, then it started raining. No biggie, felt good. Then the lightning came, so I took off back towards my car. I climbed a fence and was holding onto a tree branch. I went to jump and the branch gave out! I fell chest first onto the broken branch, got my ankle caught up in the fence then fell into some bushes. Immediately my foot was throbbing. But I didnt have time to worry about it so I started trying to walk to the car. Two steps and I was on the ground again! My foot is killing me!!! So, I half hobbled half hopped for about 30mins off and on. Then I had to scoot on my butt for the last 10mins or so to the car. Then I had to drive (and its my right foot) an hour to get back home so my wife could take me to the doc!! After 5 hours in the hospital, come to find out I have a fractured foot and some torn ligaments. No hunting or working or even walking on it for a WEEK!!!

And that was my horribly awesome Sunday hunt :-D
......And i have the tip of a thorn stuck in the tip of my thumb... i cant get it out!!!!
