don't buy newmark anything

newmark and gemini are pretty much the bottom brands. You may think you're saving money, but trust me, you'll eventually want better tables, and then when you add the cost of the newmarks up with the cost of the good tables, you won't have saved money at all.

yeah, actually im looking at the tt2 tables now, i talked to a local dj who has had them for a year or 2 now. and they said they work fine.

i have read reports though of the tables being really suceptable to electromagnetic interference which can cause a rapid gain in speed, but grounding should help that out

TT1's and TT200's are different tables. I *think*(don't hold me to it) that the TT1's are belt drives(bad!).

The TT200's aren't bad for a beginner, especially if you're doing more mixing than scratching.

And I would never buy any other mixer (except for my main, 24 channel mackie) than a Vestax.

NOT everybody can afford the 1200's!
