Warm winter day ID request
    #21046835 - 12/30/14 11:34 PM (9 years, 4 months ago)

Went out to test the camera on my new phone after we had an unusually warm day this winter, and found these little guys. They were growing on the spikey seeds of a sweetgum tree.

I'm guessing some sort of Tubaria sp.  the anullus is kinda throwing me off a little I used to just call anything that resembled that a Galerina sp.
Definitely not a psilocybe or active psychedelic mushroom.  Someone will chime in to confirm.

Thanks for your input, yeah I knew it wasn't a psilocybe (I'm not one of those guys who thinks everything I find is a psilocybe in hopes of tripping :lolsy: ).
