Psychedelics are mind opening alright. Apparently so mind opening that the subject's brains tend to fall out.

Drugs have taught me that my perception and reality are reflections of each other. Mutually so.

Some people that have mental issues for sure
But it was all the benzos that used to make me so fucked up in my thinking. Pychedelics were just piled on top of it
I haven't abused benzos in well over 2 months, and I havent used any since the beggining of this month
My drug use is no where near what it used to be, drugs aint the priority no more. Havent been for awhile and I doubt they ever will be again

So you learned that gaining a new perspective was possible.
that means it helped teach you something, bud

Every day is a new perspective. Growth is eternal to your passage of time. That's what time is. If you can't figure out that without drugs then you need to figure out something more productive with your life.

drugs can amplify the sense of a new perspective, moreso than just a regular sober day

So can a lot of other things such as exercise getting drunk or playing a new video game
Doesn't mean anything is being taught or learned

its up to the user to learn from an alternate perspective

But what are psyches actually teaching you with this alternate perspective? What is there to learn that you can't learn without the drug other than delusions?

amplify meaning emotional uprising. Whenever you have an uprise in emotion, like from drugs, its easier for your perspective to amplify as well.
I know im not wording it well.
its like comparing psychs to meth.
when you do meth, your emotion is amplified. Thus your brain speeds up THUS you can study longer. The drug is now helping you study more efficiently.
Psychedelics increase emotional output, this amplifying perspective, thus helping us learn new things easier.
idk, sorry I am not good at explaining things.
its the same reason that psychs help with creativity. they seem to open up neural pathways in the brain, allowing for more information to pass through.
This information at a faster rate, can help us learn under the influence of psychs.
but that's not a guarantee. like I said, its up to the user. I never argued that psychedelics MAKE you learn. Im just saying that, done with the right intent, they can help a human being learn new ways to think. This is the catalyst for learning new things.
If you go into a trip thinking about "how can I be nicer to my family" then you trip, and your definition of the word "nice" changes. This change of definition can certainly help you find new ways to be nice.

chill out man youre assuming just like he is. youre assuming he doesn't understand the thoughts and respect the views of other.
I assume you are taking out your anger from a personal experience on this post.
I may be wrong don't really mind if I am but I would say I have reached an enlightened state but I don't think its the last time
life is a continuous learning experience and you should know by now everything is possible
many "druggies" do respect religion and see its direct connection with substances
idk man just take that angry shit elsewhere yknow
just saying you don't know how all the "druggies" on here are just the ones who you have read and some people who come here never post do the other "druggies" speak for them because that's what you read before
yeah imma rambling man :P

If you spend any 6-12 hours thinking on something I would expect you to have some sort of definitive answer by the end regardless of your sobriety. I don't know about you guys, but if I remembered everything I thought of while I was tripping I would either be a millionaire or a psychopath.
But whatever, if you admit that under psychedelics your emotions are amplified you should realize that a feeling learning something is hardly out of the question. This feeling is where delusion festers.
