Look fine to me man! :goat: I'd eat them lol. What makes you think they are infected? I'd be more inclined to believe that they are strangely shaped because of environmental conditions and substrate recipe. In any case great job on successfully cultivating a hard to grow species~!

Great! Looking pretty leggy do you think it was lack of light?

thx guys!  it was a nail biter for sure.

could be.  there were kings on the shelf above them that did fine though, but perhaps light requirements are higher than expected?  the lights are 5000k

hardwood oak sawdust, 10% bran, some straw, and some leaf litter (wood ash added, but very little)

there are about 20 more bags that need to be cased, made standard compost, leaf compost, bran, sawdust, and straw as well.  just haven't had time to case them yet, been busy with other stuff

Awesome. Nicely done. I love seeing a nontypical species like this grown.

thanks WJ!
I'm hoping second flush will be a little more normal looking.
from that same batch, there were 4 bags left unbirthed/cased, which we left on purpose for longer consolidation.  hopefully those will look more normal.
second recipe of bags still waiting.
