what would you do?

All legal implications aside.
If you saw an animal, apparently injured and suffering but you can't be sure if the animal would survive or not, what would you do?
What if it was a human but they could not communicate their desires?
Dig in boys and girls.

What a stupid question. The best thing to do is to leave nature the hell alone. If it really need killing then i would kill it out of mercy.

What's really stoopid is your response. I asked for opinions and never gave my own.
Not to mention you contradicted yourself in your response.

How hungry am I when I find this animal?

I'd probably assume they wanted to survive and try to help, unless I had something more important to do.

@icelander say some inspiring shit to me for when i quit using this new year. That would be useful.
@Lakefingers I would love to have a PhD and advocate to make euthanasia legal for all humans. It needs to be a basic human right. No one should be made to live if they aren't having a good time here anymore. Or be made to live if they are suffering.
The option to end life humanely is given to animals but not to humans. LOL. um ok.

Once I found a cat that had obviously been hit by a car. His leg had been broken and he possibly had internal bleeding. I attempted to comfort him and then took him to a vet. Would do the same with a human. I don't pretend to have that sort of authority or knowledge.

True that is a fucked up double standard. I guess It is supposed to elevate humanity , but it seems to degrade us instead.
P.S., The best and most true I've learned is that "the only way out is through."

In the case of the animal: I have no idea where I am, what tools I have, what abilities I have, what kind of animal it is, etc. I don't know if I can even approach the animal if I decide to. Pretty much all the parameters for the humans case are missing too. The human one is easier to sketch a general answer to, because it's a juicy subject and one can imagine what an expected answer would be.
It's a general question. In your case it would be a mouse and you just happen to have an AK-47 locked and loaded. (you were going to use it later on your parents) You have the ability to pull the trigger. Anything else?
As to the human the same thing applies. They are screaming from severe pain and their mouth has been blown off and their eyes are imploring you to do something. Medical help is far away and the suffering is intense and you can tell that much.
