B+ and GT day 28

I'm doing 6 substrate jars, four with B+ and two with Golden Teacher. I just checked them at the 28 day mark and this is what they look like so far….. These are the B+….

Here are the Golden Teacher ones (they were inoculated 13 days ago)…

I've got them sitting in a 12"x18"x20" plastic container with a heating pad connected to a thermostat keeping them at 76*F on average. The plastic container is covered by a cardboard box.
Just a few questions. Is there anything wrong with the mycelium growing in any of the jars, it all looks good to me, but this is my first time so I could be wrong. Is it okay to leave the container uncovered and have the jars exposed to a bit of sunlight? (The incubation chamber is in my bedroom, which has a smallish window to let sunlight in).
Thanks!

I've read conflicting things about keeping colonizing mycelium in the dark and keeping foil on the lids. I would think they shouldn't have foil on top of them as they need to have FAE to get the built up CO2 out of the jars.

Let them colonize in ambient light.
Back in the stone age we used to cover monotubs with plastic bags. Now we know that light at all stages of mycelium growth is beneficial. Direct sunlight or a 6500k Daylight temperature bulb for fruiting and ambient, indirect light for colonization.
Your growth is fine,
You should have used the 1/2 pint Wide mouth shorties instead of the tall guys. Those would probably be done by now if you had.

Okay so I took the cardboard box off of my incubator, and now the 6 jars are getting ambient light for a window in the room. This better?

Those jars look very unhealthy. I bet you'll see in-vitro pins soon, if anything.

Oh there's mold in which one(s)? Could you point it out to me? They look fine in real life to me, the cameras flash and stuff kinda mess up what they look like.

Is that mold or vermiculite? Does look quite dark... but I have some jars that have vermiculite from the contam barrier pushed down from inoculating that look similar to that.

Also, those jars look pretty moist inside. I'd stick with the smaller wide mouth jars as advised in the pf tek.
Did you pressure cook your jars or steam sterilize?
Also when uploading photos I recommend turning off your camera flash and use the Shroomery's photo storage to upload the photos... otherwise they get blown up real large like this.
