quite. Another thread questioning the rationale of human choice and behaviour. In politics to boot
What makes a smart choice? Who wins in terms of sheer strength and numbers? 1000 monkeys or a single human? Got nothing to do with wisdom, the whole is greater then the single. You take one dumb monkey and add another 20 dumb monkeys that agree with one dumb monkey and pretty soon you have 1000 dumb monkeys.
it's not difficult. It happens all the time, well look at shroomery. Then you also take the quickest choice, evident in politics. Simplest, easiest way out. For example, do I agree with luvdemshrooms on most things? HELL NO! But truthfully, I think he is smarter then 96% of the people on shroomery
It is good To think about things before things get said sometimes that is good
I mean he can clarify that well. Now take a candidate in polling I might mostly disagree with like luvdemshrooms. Between him and a person I despise, will I pick him? Hell yes
This is just the truth of things, and it is the core of our system. Not that we really have a choice anyway. I mean the choices to vote are often between the next dictator or a dictator 15% worst. THINK ABOUT IT

The only thing the Government "forces" us to do is pay taxes, which as Ben Franklin said, is about the only certainty in life, except for death.
If we accept taxes as certain, then there really isn't much "force" from the Government, other than forcing us to follow laws the majority of us agree with (don't steal, don't kill, don't rape, etc).

I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Big businesses intervention in government creeps me out.

And it's not just Monsanto, Its Wall ST, Halliburton, Health Insurance, Pharma and everyone else that made running for government expensive and they've got the money.
Now government works for them, not us.

What about the fact that most of them will lock you up for growing certain plants, and force you to pay all kinds of fees and if u refuse they forcefully lock you up.

I agree it's bullshit but in most states, the majority of Americans are still afraid of marijuana.
Fortunately, things have already changed in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. Hopefully, the movement continues to grow.

people can't fund, operate, or make policy for anything that hasn't been paved over for politicians.

Do you mean anything that hasn't been approved by Wall St?

no, i mean anything that is in preparation for any change in policy makers minds. you cannot operate or fund anything in any forum concerning the politics of any given region, without first operating under the assumed governing law; which means that the only people able to make change in any civic administration of businesses and in the managing of any governing body is politicians.
