Does DMT feel anything like an OBE?

So I'll be trying DMT soon and I'm trying to get some idea of what to expect. People talk about intense "buzzing" and virtual worlds and it sounds a lot like an out of body experience to me. Are they at all comparable?

In my ayahuasca trips I have had profound experiences of death, buzzing in my head, feelings of my soul or consciousness starting to explode out of my body, seeing myself, and traversals through alternate realities once I have lost consciousness. There is of course no proof whether these experiences represent real OBEs or if you are just tripping balls and dreaming.

DMT kinda frightens me. Never had the opportunity to try it, but such a quick come-up (from what I've read and heard) would seem to be very disorienting and ...I dunno.
Wonder if people 'lose control' on DMT. As in, their bodies reacting to hallucinations...if that makes any sense. Walking around, motioning, not being aware of people or place around them.

People on DMT or ayahuasca usually stay on the floor due to cardiac stress. I have not read anything about people getting up unconsciously after they have broken through. The hallucinations are also so alien-like and hyperdimensional that there isn't really a way to react to them that would translate into motions in the 3 dimesional world.

I would say a DMT breakthrough is kind of like a lucid dream or astral projection. I wonder if this same sleep-paralysis mechanism that occurs in dreaming is at play here. I'm not saying it is but I am wondering.

It basically feels like your mind is being transported to another dimension.
Also, theres this trip report that I really enjoyed! Very crazy stuff: http://www.shroomery.org/13179/DMT-My-Best-Experience-EVER
Now THATS an OBE on DMT!

All he talks about in that trip report is OEVs. Doesn't sound like he broke through.

I was hoping there would be someone here who has experience of them both, separately, that could say.

I've had multiple OBEs and countless lucid dreams and DMT is the next on my list. Your lucky to have some.
