"FAT ASSES" are the psilocybe cubensis from the amazon. fat asses are either caused by too much water in the cake (pf tek) or in my opinion, fat asses are cause by pre mature primorida formation ebfore the cake has been birthed. check out http://www.fanaticus.com if you are not familiar with it.

and shrina.... read the freaking mushroom cultivator! this book answer 90% of the question encounter here, seriously, read it!

ya i cased eq's with jiffy-mix. and they shoot out hundreds of little ones a bit bigger than a pencil, and the cap was like a quarter. then on the second flush only one big ole mamma came up, i have no reed the tmc want to but not have. i think i need more nutrients and water in the substrate. also doesnt too much co2 cause small caps and sometimes causes them to split.
