If your colonized substrate was mixed together, it probably won't fruit very well since they definately won't merge toghther and will just have a hard time recovering and fruiting.

If it was cased separately in the pan, you will have the two strains growing kinda fine next to each other.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no real advantage of doing this, except for the kick. Some people were able to fruit 5 or 6 strains separately in the same casing.

well, in my case i mixed 2 strains PR & EQ.... the strongest myc. will colon. ur compost !!!
