I'm very close to growing some shrooms for my migraines! Grew some GT's a long time ago and was migraine free for 3 months... considering I had 19 migraines in the month of November, being migraine free for 3 months is HUGE! Waiting on the spore syringe (which will arrive today) but here's a pic of some of my other things that I have already: 16 qt. Presto pressure canner/cooker, 4 cu. feet of Vermiculite and Perlite, a digital scale, a wickless alcohol burner, 12 Qt. jars ( Kerr was all I could find at the time), high-temp red RTV, 3 sterile petri dishes with agar, a plastic bin, a heat mat and a thermostat, and 25 lbs., of organic rye grain. All I need to do is prepare my lids and get some tyvek for filter discs.

Sometimes, in the beginning, trying to grow mushrooms will GIVE you a headache...

Well the first time I grew, it seemed pretty easy to me (beginners luck maybe?) Everything grew without a hitch. I used a plastic tub with perlite on the bottom for a fruiting chamber.
This time however I am buying a greenhouse like you have, but as far as what I am doing otherwise... I'm not sure yet. I used BRF trek my first time. But this time I bought Rye grain... I have to do some research to see what to do next!!!

So happy for you!
I have read a lot about the effectiveness of psilocybin for the prevention of migraines. God's natural medicine.
My sister suffers from severe migraines as well.
I have still been unable to convince her to try this remedy.
She doesn't want to trip, but I told her she could take small doses, say a gram, maybe once or twice per week where the psychoactive effects would be minimal.
I'm sincerely glad this is working for you.

It really helps. I had one so bad when I was 18 that my parents rushed me to the ER thinking I just had an aneurysm. Screaming at the top of my lungs feeling like two hot knifes were being wiggled around in my brain. I'm 22 now and the only thing I've had is maybe a slight headache because I was drinking.

Good luck!! Did you do bulk the first time you cultivated?
-------------------- The mushroom speaks: '"I am old, older than thought in your species, which is itself fifty times older than your history. Though I have been on earth for ages I am from the stars. My home is no one planet, for many worlds scattered through the shining disc of the galaxy have conditions which allow my spores an opportunity for life... How the hypercommunication mode operates is a secret which will not be lightly given to man. But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the biosynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiots the vision screens to many worlds"

32 half pints and 8 pints lol my parents actually helped me cultivate them but I did most of the work. My pints fruited like crazy, at least quadruple of each half pint.
