Need help with these two findsplease

This was growing on the ground of mixed woods. They were medium sized with whithish/pale gills (kinda look serrated ).
The cap was kind of dried up but it had a specific darker spot on top.
The stem was overall pale with brown scales below the ring. I'm not familiar with this, and when I followed an ID key it led me to Lentinus on account of the serrated gills but that's about as good as it gets and I'm probably wrong . Here are some pics of it:

I guess this the closest to snow I've ever seen Pure white polypore:

The first one might be Tricholoma.
Not sure who the European polypore experts are, try mushroomobserver.org for the second. And also maybe the first.

Maybe Tricholoma caligatum or something similar.

I didn't taste it, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to polypores
That has to be a Quercus sp, that's a spot I go to regularly and there are only Quercus sp, Pinus pinaster and Eucalyptus, from those 3 that log's got to be Quercus, most probably Quercus ilex.
I'll try to find some info on your suggestion, thank you.

I'm not good with polypores either. It is usually a winter phenomenon for me - in high season I seem to ignore them in favor of agarics.
I just thought it reminded me a bit of a young Postia stiptica, which should taste bitter and have kind of soft flesh. If it is, yours is a young specimen. I reckon you didn't pick it? Leave it working and if possible go back to check it in a while.
I'm nowhere near sure, though.

It could very well be Postia stiptica, no doubt this was a young specimen.
I'll try to check it again this weekend, thanks

So yesterday I went to the spot where I'd found the polypore, the specimens seem to have developed some yellowish shades. When picked up it bruised in a red wine color. The inside is overall chocolate brown and velvety, I haven't tasted it yet
I also noticed that while attached to the tree it didn't have a very strong smell but when removed it started having a pretty intense mushroomy odor:
