Memphis does look really good. Their bench is absolutely killing it as well which is kind of surprising.

If GS and MEM meet in the playoffs I'll be very happy to watch 7 games of that. Pretty intense physical game yesterday!

Great game.

It would be interesting to see how Bogut and Lee counter Z-bo and Gasol. I mean Mike Conlee is good, but Steph Curry is great. I wish Memphis would pair Vince Carter on Klay Thompson, instead of playing that 6 man role but I’m going to trust the NBA coach that its better for him to come off the bench.

Memphis BackCourt>GS
GS Front Court>Mem

Old school versus new school, ya gotta love it.

Im the same way as you man, just barely started paying attention to BBall, since the Broncos are in and really the playoffs are the only thing left. Plus basketball games are on every other night so thats nice.

Saw D-Wade put up 42, on the Jazz. Ive always liked D-Wade and hope the heat do well in the east. Been in CO for a while so I’ve only been seeing Nugs games. I don’t like the nugs at all. Haven’t seen the jazz in 2-3 weeks.

Tony Allen is an awesome defender. But VC started now that Tony Allen was out and offensively he has more input. More shooting, more spread, better spacing.

As a Grizzlies fan, this season has been great. :thumbup:

But seriously, did anybody see Spurs-Grizzlies last night?  It was the best basketball game I've ever seen in my entire life, and that's not an exaggeration.  Check out the highlights if you haven't already

Rondo to Mavericks. Cause the Western Conference really needed more talent compared to the East. I know Rondo was going to be a free agent, but 1st and 2nd round picks from Dallas are going to be low picks. I don't know if Rondo had trade approval rights, but one first rounder from a bad team would be more valuable. Basketball seems like the only sport where the draft is predictable.

A good move for Dallas, in the short run, trying to make a move while Novitsky still has gas in the tank.

Mos def a good move for Cuban.

I thought Rondo might have ended up a Cav

I just read an article saying how the Lakers dodged a bullet by not trading for Rondo, saying rondo is overrated and too old.

Isn’t this the same team that signed Steve Nash.
:loldongs:

Fuck the Lakers I hope they suck forever.
I hope everyone else is enjoying the one year in every generation where both Boston and LA are shit.

That's pretty funny. I felt bad for Nash in that deal. I mean he got paid and all, but he will not be a part of Laker lore that is for certain.

You know what isn't funny though? The beating the Bulls put on the mighty Memphis Grizzzz

So nice

True, but it was the first team he was on that had any kind of history. Phoenix and Dallas were not teams that had a large following.

Sure he drew a lot of fans to that particular market, but when he went to LA even though most felt he was past his prime (which he was) he was going to play a big role while there

I always thought it was funny when Steve Nash got 2 consecutive MVPs and Dirk Novitski got one. Don't remember the order but it was 3 consecutive. The black guys must have been saying WTF? But neither of those white boys was an American.

Why do people always make such a big deal about race.
Dirk is one of the greatest players in NBA history, Nash aint too shabby either.

Ill take Hayward 1/1 on just about every guy in the NBA (he had a game winner over LBJ and outplayed him all game) . The only guys i wouldn’t like that matchup on would be Westbrook and Durant.
OKC may not have the best record but when Westbrook and Durant are on the court there isn’t a team in the league that can match that talent level.

I'm pretty excited to watch Rondo's debut tonight vs the Spurs.

I read that article as well talking about how the Lakers were "lucky" they didn't pick him up. I have no idea what that writer was talking about. What I do know is that Nick Young elbowed some lanky white dude in the throat last night and got ejected.

Fuck the Lakers anyways. They're L.A.'s ugly ex wife.

That Adams dude on OKC is a total fuckhead.

Someone needs to beat his ass. Nick young shouldn’t have been ejected.

I didn't watch the game, so I didn't see what led up to the elbow.
Shit. I hadn't even heard of Adams until I watched ESPN this morning. Did he just come up from the D-League this year?

Either way, that was a really nasty elbow by Swaggy. I really haven't liked his personality since he's entered the league but I gotta give him props for hitting that fat Australian Iggy ass lol.

Nah hes a 2nd year player.
He got in a bunch of fights last year. One with Blake, one with Zbo in the playoffs. He’s a goon, all he does is try to start problems.

He tried to start shit with Iggy, who doesn’t like iggy? i guess i should clarify Andre Igoudala  since there is a rapper named iggy now, and she fuckign sucks.

I try to not like Nick Young, but he’s a pretty funny/laid back guy, i can’t hate him.
