Making my first tea

I've always been a field picking kind of girl. Today I harvested my first grow. I want to make my first tea with some. My husband and I are going to share. Should I make enough tea with 40 grams or so or 80? I wasn't sure if i needed to double the amount for two, or if it would just make the tea stronger? Anywho lemme know what 'think. Water is boiling.

If you want to have a 40g trip but you're splitting it with your husband then use 80g.

This. And don't boil it all the way, but let it steep for 15-20min. Add lemon juice or citric acid!!!
Edit: Beware, tea kicks in fast. But there's barely nausea.

Thanks cranberries. 80 it is! =) Any tea tips?? I've searched around a bit tonight on the older pages. I am boiling some water, my mushrooms are going to simmer in that pot. then i have another pot I'm going to make tea in. I'm going to strain my mushrooms then run the tea through them and strain again. =)

You can boil mushrooms but don't really need to Boil water Add... Something... Lemon, vinegar, black tea bag, yerba matte, herbal tea, honey Add chopped mushrooms Remove from heat Let sit 15-20 min
Strain and drink
Some folks do a second pull on the mushroom mass and drink while waiting for the come up
I boil some fresh ginger root for 20 min, add tbl spoon or honey, strain and sip on the come up
Peace

The first time I tried tea I poured boiling water on the dose and covered it for 20 minutes, then drank and repeated. The result was disappointing.
Now I boil the crap out of fungus, 10-15 minutes has been very successful for me. Usually I chop, soak in lemon juice, pour that gunk into the water while boiling, throw in slices of ginger five minutes in, whatever else (honey, yerba, etc.) and then drink after straining.
Also, I have boiled for 10 minutes and then thrown in top ramen and eaten when ready. It is hard to taste in the top ramen, good if you don't dig the flavor.

I didn't boil them. I thought that was bad. =< I boiled the water, added the chopped shrooms and then removed them from the heat. Then I boiled some chamomile tea and poured it over the mushrooms. I'm guessing now that i should have boiled them?? =<<<

Did you strain the mushrooms back out or eat them when you drank the tea?

Here's how I do it: chop mushrooms finely and put in french press, boil water and pour over mushrooms, wait 10-15 min then plunge/strain and drink.
If you want to use chamomile tea then just pour the fresh hot tea over your chopped mushrooms and wait 10-15 and it should work. Just make sure you chop as finely as possible. Put the mushrooms on a cutting board and go to town on 'em.
