Possible to get antibodies thru saliva?

Is it possible to get antibodies from someone else in a means other than blood transfusion? Like how you get sick from drinking after someone, if they were already getting over the virus, could you ingest their saliva to receive antigens?

No, I'd expect not since antibodies have no good way to pass theucous membranes in the mouth and they wouldn't survive the acid in the stomach I suspect

Wait so antibodies can't pass mucous membrane? Are you sure about that?

Yes, they can't pass from your blood to your mucous so presumably not vice versa.
Your mucous just has chemicals to hinder the virus before making it into your blood. Then once in the antibodies do the rest of the work.
I'm sure some GM manufacturer is probably already looking into doing this.

I don't really know; it's my suspicion. IgA and IgG apparently do much of their work in saliva. However, it's not clear to me if they could pass the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat into the blood stream.

Is there anyway I can find out if there is any intellectual property behind this idea? Or if it is indeed already a "thing"?

You could do a patent scan, it that's quite an endeavor if you've never done that before; it'll likely take you weeks or months and the chance that you'll miss something is huge. If you have an idea that you want to pursue in a serious way, I recommend contacting an intellectual property adviser to help you with this.

If you have a sore or cut in your mouth then YES antibodies can go into the blood stream. Brushing your teeth creates microscopic insicions in the gums.
I don't know why you're asking but let me give an example, let's say you're a gay guy or a chick, if you brush your teeth and then give someone head, you have a high risk of getting hiv if the other person has it. Or if you have a cut or sore in your mouth, same thing.
If you need to brush your teeth, make sure you wait at least 2-3 hours before doing any high risk activity with someone. If your gums have blead at ALL while brushing your teeth within the last 2 weeks, do NOT even bother doing it.
As for mucous membranes, yes, antibodies CAN go through mucous membranes. The head of the penis is a mucous membrane and hiv CAN pass through it. It's highly unlikely and low risk, but it CAN happen. The inside of the anus as a mucous membrane is more high risk.
Hope this helps.
