Would this for humidity?

It sounds pretty nice, but would it work for shrooms? For one thing, I can't find out how much it raises the humidity. I live in a desert so I think I might have to get a humidifier eventually.

Well, it's a wick-based device which means you probably won't have a problem with actual droplets in the air (impeller based humidifiers usually do this which soaks everything around them... bad!)

For $20 it seems worth it to snag the thing, plop it into a rubbermaid, put a lid on top and monitior the humidity/temp for a few days. It seems like a double-container style heat setup combined with that puppy might make a very nice fruiting chamber - and it's cheaper than most normal "human" humidifiers out there!

By "I", I of course mean a good friend of mine who happens to live in the fine city of Amsterdam. "I" is just so less awkward.

Hey, a foaf has a tropicair humidifier and air exchanger and he told me :

Make sure the pump is larger than the recommended pump size per terrarium.

terrarium size to pump(cc per minute)
10-15 gal:at least 1200
20-30 gal:at least 2500
55 gal:at least 4000

^use that guide that's on the side of the box to compare terrarium size to pump. Also I think it's better used as a helper not an actual solution unless you put in more devices or maybe doing cases.

Good luck man
