Thanks to everyone here at the shroomery for all the help you have provided!!!!

I started misting the container each time I fan. The results have been DRASTIC!!!

I have lots more pix, but will have to wait till later this evening to post them :smile:

what do you mean by 'misting the container'? do you mist the perlite only, the sides, the cakes? what?

if u got perlite at the botton should be enough to maintain the hum. if the sides of the terrarium looks dry, mist....don't mist directly to the cakes...

It is hard for me to see...did you drill a hole in the top center of the cake?

If yes, why? Just a thought of mine, could you drill holes in your cakes and then keep them filled with purified water, as kindof a constant dunk to keep cakes hydrated?

If not, my eyes are playing tricks on me, but is the above still a good idea or not?

Btw congrats, I'm looking forward to birthing my popcorn but it seems oh so far away.

Yes that is a hole in the top. I read that it would help the cake hydrate quicker when dunked. It is a pint cake and I wanted to see growth as quick as possible :tongue:
