I love weed but I think kratom is even better and if I had to choose one it would be kratom.

I also find mushrooms to be often difficult trips and I have had many many "bad" scary trips on shrooms.

I think most people find LSD more light, easy and euphoric.

I know weed causes negative psychological and emotional reactions in many people at least sometimes or at some point in their lives, myself included.

But the majority of people enjoy marijuana, and it is the safest and most sustainable and least addictive and most legitimately medicinal of all the common recreational drugs, with the lowest risk of creating a physical addiction, the lowest risk of overdose, the most medical uses (nausea, pain relief, treating of loneliness, reducing cancer risk, treating chemotherapy and HIV symptoms, creating new growth of brain cells (neurogenesis), reducing risk of obesity and diabetes, treating irritable bowl syndrome, glaucoma, asthma in some cases, seizures in many people who dont respond to other options, joint and muscle pain as a topical ointment, depression and anxiety in many people, and increasing percieved quality of life for many.

Even when a person becomes psychologically addicted, the addiction is much less dangerous, expensive and disruptive then any other psychologically addictive drug such as MXE, ketamine, Nitrous, meth, etc.

Coffee and kratom are both more physically addictive than weed and equally psychologically addictive for many.

The cost of a weed habit is typically lower then many other drug habits financially, and drastically less costly in terms of physical and mental health. The legal risk is also often lower and the social stigma is much less then with other drugs.

The percentage of people who use weed is huge for a reason, it is a hugely popular drug because a huge number of people find it hugely enjoyable, use it for medical and therapeutic reasons and realize it is drastically safer then legal drugs like alcohol and tobacco.

The number of famous and incredibly successful heavy weed users is enormous and many people find it enhances their creativity, writing skills, abstract thinking, art skills, athletic or sexual performance, ability to dream and visualize and get inspired, enjoying food, art, music, movies and walks in nature...

Weed has massive benefits for millions and relatively minor drawbacks for many.

On a cost benefit analysis, weed must always be listed as one of the best choices for any drug user to make.

If you had to list drugs in terms of safest to least safe, marijuana would have to be in the top 3 safest of all drugs by any imaginable standard and would be number 1 safest on most legitimate estimates.

Marijuana is not only safer then all other common recreational drugs but also safer then almost all prescription and otc drugs, and can often provide as effective pain relief as tylenol or advil and as effective nausea relief as gravol or pepto bismol, with less physical toxicity.

Not everyone will like everything, some people hate Mozart and Michelangalo, but that doesnt change the fact that both were artistic geniuses.

Just like many people will hate marijuana, but you cant deny it is overall and on average one of the best and safest drugs available today.

The number of people who feel marijuana improves rather than harms their lives is higher then virtually any other recreational drugs. Most people who enjoy benzos, alcohol, cocaine, meth, amphetamines, GHB, MDMA or any other popular drug will say they love the feeling, but recognize the significant harms and risks that come with the drug and many even though they love them recognize they would be better off having never done them and many wish they had never tried them in the first place.

Whereas most weed users will claim that it enhances their lives and few will feel their lives have been ruined by marijuana, while this is very common among most other recreational drugs (excluding some like mushrooms and DMT which people often feel improve and do not hurt their lives)

Even MDMA users who love MDMA recognize it is drastically more taxing and dangerous on body and mind then weed, despite being relatively safe itself if pure.

If you hate weed that is your legitimate perspective, but it cant be generalized to weed as a whole. Your reaction is unique to you, everyone has a unique reaction, and a majority have a positive reaction and the drug is indisputably one of the very safest in existence. For this reason alone it must be recognized as a fantastic drug and probably the safest and best choice of drug that most users  could make.

If your drug of choice is weed your future is much brighter and less full of tragedy and risk then almost any other drug of choice.

The average life expectancy of a meth addict is 7 years. The average life expectancy of a marijuana addict is the same or perhaps slightly higher then the general population (due to reduced risk of some cancers) - a marijuana addict will likely live about 80 years, depending on country of residence.

Alcohol and tobacco take up to 10 or more years off your live. Opiates kill many of their addicts within years of becoming addicted.

Opiate and cocaine/crack users can easily die during their first use, and cocaine runs a risk of sudden death with every sniff, even if not addicted.

Benzos, alcohol and opiates have incredibly horrible and the former have potentially fatal withdrawals, whereas marijuana withdrawal ranges from non existent to mild, being moderate at worst in a very tiny minority of individuals.

Marijuana is also a beautiful plant, with a gorgeous appearance and divine scent, making it a real aesthetic experience that can be compared to savoring a fine wine or cheese.

I could go on and on. Marijuana also is associated with certain cultural values that I align myself with, such as peacefulness, non violence, friendship, sociality, bonding, philosophical reflections and conversation, appreciation of art and music, sharing and giving, communication between friends, and enjoyment of nature and celebrations such as festivals and concerts.

The kind of people you likely hang out with if you are a pothead are generally safer, less dangerous, more calm and peaceful and less desperate and crazy then opiate, meth, cocaine or alcohol addicts and less delusional then meth, dissociative or psychedelic addicts.

The social costs of marijuana to the user are much lower then with almost any other drug excluding coffee.

As we learn more and more about the medical uses of the various cannibinoids, the medical and therapeutic utility of marijuana will continue to increase. As use of edibles and vaporizers becomes more common, the already minimal/ virtually non existent health consequences of marijuana use will grow even lower and the medical benefits even higher.

As legalization continues to spread, the social stigma and legal risk will grow even lower.

Marijuana is a more valuable cash crop then corn, the second largest agricultural crop. Legalization and taxation of marijuana could create millions of jobs and bring billions of dollars into local and national economies, which can be used to renovate infrastructure and fund education and medicine.

Legalization will also save billions of taxpayer dollars by reducing  the number of non-violent offendes incarcerated, each of whom costs the state $60 000 dollars a year.

Weed is not just one of the best drugs, it holds the key to solving many of the world's biggest problems, by reducing the war on drugs and the tragedies it commits, ending the oppression and imprisonment of non-violent farmers, users and distributers, by bringing billions into the economy and saving billions in costs, and by taking billions out of the pockets of evil and dangerous cartels who use their marijuana profits to fund other heinous activities.

Hemp can also provide massive nutritional benefits as a food and economic and environmental benefits as a source of everything from paper, clothing, food and robe to biofuels and bioplastics and nutritional extracts and medicines.

Marijuana could largely solve the problem of deforestation by making all flyers, newspapers, toilet paper etc from hemp instead of forests as is currently the practice.

Marijuana is also something many people find enhances their spiritual and religious life, and many enjoy practicing yoga, meditating, doing tai chi and chanting mantras while on marijuana, while very few find these spiritual activities to be very compatible with most other recreational or prescription drugs.

Bob Marley- Iconic, legendary musician, major marijuana user and advocate
Carl Sagan- Iconic, legendary scientist, major marijuana user and advocate
Michael Phelps-  Greatest Olympian in history, marijuana user

The list of artists, musicians and writers who use marijuana is too long to list and probably at least half or more of famous artists use marijuana.

Countries that have legalized marijuana have experienced social benefits such as reduced rates of addiction to hard drugs and reduced crime as well as decreased unemployment and increased revenue.

Ok I will stop now.

You can call it bullshit, but its all supported by science and medicine, whereas your opinion it is bullshit is based on no evidence whatsoever.

So I would say it is you who is spreading bullshit, not the scientists publishing peer reviewed scientific studies on these uses of marijuana.

Are those the same scientists that say it cures cancer?
