T. Versicolor?
    #20979503 - 12/15/14 01:03 PM (9 years, 5 months ago)

I found these on 2 neighboring dead tree branches.  I know these have to be trametes because of the white pores on the bottoms.  They're thin and flexible with a lot of small pores on bottom and velvety on the top.  The colors only seem to vary between light and dark brown.  But it's raining and they're all wet.  So there may be more variation when dry.  Are these versicolor?

Thanks.  Here they are dried just for clarity.  I think the wet on the bottoms of the 1st set of pics helps showing the pores.

Thanks!  I collected enough to make a double extraction tincture I think.

That's a good recipe.  I only have enough to fill the quart jar 1/3 to 1/2-ish the way full instead of 2/3 like suggestion.  So I guess I'll either need to double the dosage (when time comes) to 1 tsp or find more Turkey Tail.
