Major popping sounds in my legs and knee
    #20960246 - 12/11/14 12:11 AM (9 years, 5 months ago)

Whenever I extend or move my knee it pops, and whenever I get up out of bed and start to walk my legs both crack, the right one more. Why do they keep cracking and popping. I tried stretching my legs and walking. I think something is wrong inside of my knee. Because it will always crack when I move it. If I do it twice or three times in a row it will stop, but later when I do it again it will always pop again every time.

I don't know whats wrong with my knee. I think it might be hyper-extensive but that might not explain it.

If it works fine and there is no pain its probably nothing to worry about, but I would avoid purposely making it crack.

I have/had popping in both my knees too.

The right knee, I know, is because I sprained it skiing when I was 15 or 16. I have always had issues with it ever since then. For the past 4 months I have been back at my yoga practice, and, I am happy to say the popping in my right knee is gone!

One thing, along with the yoga, that has helped, is taking turmeric tincture/extract. It's strongly anti-inflammatory. Doesn't taste so great, but you might want to give it a shot. I take 1 dropper full in a small amount of water 3x a day as a supplement.
