Putting two isolated sectors on same agar plate to share genetic information

Say you have two isolated sectors both from the same strain of cubensis one isolated sector is from a true albino mutation and the other sector is from a large fruit of said strain, could you place sectors from both plates onto one and have it result in a large albino fruit? A dikatyotic pairing through anastomosis kind of like what is spoken here but instead of crossing say pf redspore and albino strain with redboy as mentioned on a post from this link http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/6203531 could I just cross two isolates both from Cambodian strain one isolate being a true albino mutation the other isolate from a cloned large Cambodian fruit to create a large albino Cambodian fruit? Would I need to degrade the cell wall?

the mycelium doesn't know what "strain" it comes from all cubensis is compatable with any other variety. anastomosis occurs so you get a unified organism out of the 100s of strains in a grow started from a spore syringe. but to get two isolates to share genetic information and merge into one single strain requires a bit more biotech then just putting them both on agar. remember a strain is dikaryotic mycelium from two hypha(monokaryotic) you can have 100s of strains in a PF tek if you use spores. variety is just what someone decided to call their spore prints after many generations. it's like saying a black guy can't get a white girl pregnant. do some reading about fungal genetics

Yes I know there is more to crossing two strains of cubensis such as penis envy and Texan. Rogerrabbit dwells on it a bit in that post about using rattlesnake venom to break down the cell wall to share genetic information. Thanks for the reply and I am very new and will contniue reading on the subject thanks for the answer. That's not really my question my question simply stated is say you make an isolate of a true albino Cambodian fruit and another isolate of a large Cambodian fruit take sectors from both plates on same agar plate would this result in a large albino Cambodian fruit?

Sorry to double post but could I do that to get a large albino fruit or should I just use the isolate from the mutation then grow it out on wbs and coir and wait for a large albino fruit to form and just clone and isolate this?

Thanks so much if it doesn't work I'll just grow out the isolate and find a large fruit to isolate thank you so much for the answer.

I dont think it really works like that either, does it?
I dont know whay you mean by find a large fruit to isolate. I mean you could find an isolate that produces large fruits. You could clone a large fruit but it doesn't necessarily mean it will produce big fruits, it coukd have been environmental factors that caused it to grow so big.
When you say isolate are you getting confused with clone?
Isolates come before fruit, clones come from fruits. You could grow out each sector of a clone and those would be isolates.
Unless I am t ottally confused heh

Yes you're confused lol no I meant clone a large fruit and isolate a sector, then put that clones isolate on the same plate as the albino mutation isolate. Kind of like what's going on in the link except we are crossing two traits not two strains.

I'm going to worse that can happen is it doesn't work and I just grow out the albino mutation and find a large fruit and clone that and isolate it.

Went through all of RRs notes and found the answer today if any one is ever wondering him taking isolates that came from the same spore print could be used to answer my question. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5545843#Post5545843
