I'd like to jump in here and ask a couple of questions since they're related...
I've read that peat contams fairly easy so I'm thinking coir/verm is probably the better way to go due to that. If the bulk sub is already coir/verm, what keeps the mycelium from eating through it quickly like it's more bulk sub? Is it just the fact that it's been put into fruiting conditions right when the casing is applied?
If Damions 50/50 tek makes enough to do a full monotub, what fraction of that would do for a casing? 1/6th perhaps?

I've never had peat contam on me, but I always leach it and raise/buffer the Ph.

How do you buffer the peat? that's an easy one.
You Put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up.

I prefer diamond plaster. Raise and buffer the Ph in one step
Don't think coir needs lime, but props on the reference
