Alright, so, this casing afoaf has smells to have some cobweb. Do you think it's curable? If so, how?

when i get cobweb i dilute peroxide to .003% in water , scrape the cobweb off, and give it a good spraying. it will be a battle and you can mess with the h2o2 percentages till you find a happy medium. good luck and keep on it.

check out this log,it should give you some confidance.
make sure you cut as much of the cobweb out as possible.
if any spots reappear paint them with undilute h2o2 using a fine paint brush.

This is by no means advise, but there was some cobweb just forming like 1x3 inch on a casing 60/40 peat/verm which had never been used before... scraped it off with a butter knife, and it hasnt been back.

lucky i guess. - it doesn't really seem that agressive if you catch it early.. of course, this was someones first encounter with web.

Some people say to mist it with h2o2/h2o, then let it sit out (so the lack of moisture kills it) for a day or so. Contam sucks ass.

Alright, I scraped the top of the casing and sprayed with h202/h20. In one corner it seems there's becoming a stronger smell of mushroom. I hope that's a good sign.... I guess only time will tell.
