Want to move to a state with many outdoor activities

I've lived in NY, VT, OH, and NC. I want to move to a state that has many computer science jobs and a ski resort that would be open to biking in the summer. I want to know specific towns/cities with these opportunities. I like my job in Ohio, but it's a flat state. I want to eventually buy a house on a mountain. Park city, Utah, California, and Cotlorado seem like the places to live.

don't limit yourself if you are basically going to be a weekend warrior so a 2 hour drive isn't ideal but shouldnt be a deal breaker either.
portland mt hood is a kick ass combo, toas new mexico sweet place as well.
i do the socal thing and ski big bear mid week under 2 hour drive, leave house in tank top and shorts, always sunny spring like conditions, not great for big mountain type skiing but park is top notch.

Lake Tahoe is awesome. Not sure about computer science jobs. Lots of jobs in the service industry in the winter. If you like rock climbing one road has over 200 climbing routes off it. Plus the back country is amazing. I remember one time we hiked to a peak and dropped off the back of the mountain and did over 2,000 feet of vertical decent 2 miles out to a road. During the summer there wasn't that much work besides carpentry construction stuff building homes n what not from what I could tell.
As for tech jobs though I don't know
North Start resort does mountain biking in the summer.
