What area did you find them in?

Found it in the Northeast USA. I am not 100% sure of the ID. It looks like Oyster shrooms don't you think? I think it is Pleurotus Ostreatus. I also found a huge human head sized White Oyster (Pleurotus Pulminarus) the next day but I didnt get pics of it.

Yes I plan to clone both of them. I have a hepa box and I have heard that they can grow in karo water.

Some Oysters are edible, others are edibility unknown. I have not seen anything yet about posionous look - alikes, but they may exist for all I know.

Look alike is an interesting phrase. In my mind there are no poisonous look alikes for Oyster mushrooms. Then again I can tell a female redwing blackbird from a brewers blackbird too - because I know what to look for and what destinguishing features are there (or not). I'd get a good mushroom book (or two) and go over the features on any mushroom just to be sure. What is an obvious edible for one person may look like any number of others (some poisonous) to another person. People that rely just on this forum to tell them something is edible or active scare me. $25 can get you a good mushy book - worth the investment in my view considering it can save your life.
