Jelly Tek! Shroom Jello Recipe * 2

Delicious mushroom jelly recipe! I'm sure it's been done before, well here it is again, easy to make and great for sharing with friends. Scale up/down as required. Can kick in really fast, be aware of that. Keep way the fuck out of reach of children.


You will need:

Ground up dried mushrooms

Packet of jelly

Measuring jug

Kettle

Mixing bowl/jug

Jello Mold/Bowl

Refrigerator

Method:

1. Weigh out your dose of ground-up dried mushrooms. Measure 250 ml of boiling water.

2. Add the boiling water to the dried shrooms, standard "mushroom tea" making technique really. I find a coffee plunger to be useful for filtering out the solids. Place the liquid into the refrigerator and chill to room temperature. Filtering out the solids, you should have about 200 ml or so of liquid.

3. Add 1 packet of jelly to 250 ml boiling water and stir thoroughly.

4. Mix the shroom tea in with the jelly and pour into a suitable mold or container. Place in the refrigerator to set.

5. Eat the jelly, trip balls, have fun!

Why did you wait til after thanksgiving to post this?

Honestly that's the only thing bad I can say, this looks amazing. This is one of those things where you're  like ,'why didn't I think of that!' It's just shroom tea used as the water in jello. Simple as can be.

This is brilliant! I really want to try this now - as well as powdered shrooms into melted chocolate.

I am sure these methods will be better at masking the taste of the shrooms, especially if you are doing higher doses?

You could even use less water overall for a more solid jelly and concentrated (taste).

Does anyone know how long does this last if you freeze it vs put it in the fridge vs keep it in room temperature?

How long does regular jello last at room temp? Freezing jello will desolidify it because it breaks the bonds that make jello...well... gell. Fridge, maybe a week before the jello itself gets hard and goes bad.
