The Return of Swami

Demonic forces attempted (but failed) to keep me away. All great heroes must have a worthy protagonist.
Spent a day or two partying with sclorch sans philsophic discussion was pretty cool. He and his buds made me feel welcome in the Sunshine State.
I actually "won" an old Swami Challenge when a foxy, aspiring musician at a bar where sclorch's friend was performing, gave me two professional CDs that she recorded after reciting a long sales pitch as how she had spent $20K in recording and publishing costs and as to why I should buy them, which I did. She then stated that "she could not possibly take my money" (which happened to be EXACTLY $10 - check the archives for the relevant Swami Challenge about making stuff happen) and also gave away CDs to sclorch and friends as well just cuz they knew the mighty Swam.
A great deal of my shamanic energy was spent in keeping the California fires away from evolving's house. That was quite draining; even for me.
I missed all of you and can hardly wait to give and receive a few wacks in the head.

Its great to your presence felt once again! Have fun posting and continuing the spread and reforming of ideas... We are all better for it. Peace.

Welcome back Swami. Oh, thanks for stopping those fires, if it wasn't for you, thousands of firefighters, cooler weather, precipitation and my magic slippers, who knows what would have happened
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Who precipitated the precipitation and cooler weather?
Who mesmerized the firefighters into sacrificing their lives?
Who put the magic in dem slippers?
And most importantly... who put the Bop in the Bop-shoo-bop? (Don't worry kids - before your time.)
You think those things JUST happened? *raises eyebrows* OK buddy - next time I will let "nature" take its course.

On reflection, I see myself as being sort of the neutral ground between Shroomism and Swami. Sort of like 50/50% or something... yes? no?
Just sort of occured to me... How I come acrossed to all of you might be completely different... Peace.

The prophet/oracle extraoridinaire of these strange little people? No prophet here, nor are these members any stranger than "ordinary" folk.
Well just watch your step cause I haven't seen you around and I've been busy making myself comfortable You should be comfortable, but make nonsensical or inconsistent arguments and you your comfort level may be reduced.

Actually, this shrine should be dedicated to Al Gore instead. We would need to build a massive temple on top of a tower for Odin, because he is clearly the best, most impressive, and worthy God there is. Peace.

Since you were gone, I have developed a newfound respect for you. Forty-four days suspended in that box over the Thames, and afterwards the one hour interview with Larry King.. It must have been excruciating! I kept warning everyone to stay on their toes.. I knew you'd be back just as soon as you started taking in proper nutrients and eating solid food again! I told everyone you just needed some seperation from this place. Hanging out over the Thames must have seemed worlds away from S&P.. the gawkers, the verbal abuse, people throwing eggs..come to think of it, was it ALL that different?
