hey
i got a question about acid.. is the trip pretty much simialr to mushrooms by the visuals... ? cuase i dont like mushrooms all that much as the muchrroms are too in my head if u know wat i mean.. is acid the same.. or can acid be like taking a E with mad hallucintaions.. i head the in ur head hsit hehe

let me start by saying that acid is not "pretty much similar to mushrooms". There are similarities in the visuals, yes, but only for basic hallucinations. Once you trip hard on either you will understand how different the visuals can be. The visual that I associate with shrooms is when I am looking at an area with nothing inside it (a blank wall or something), I get multicolored blobs shifting across the surface. At higher shrooms doses everything shifts like water, objects emanate either black or multicolored lines.

The visual that I associate with acid is like waves of off-tone color spreading from the point that makes the center of my vision. If you have ever see The Matrix, there are times where a visual effect is used that resembles this. Think of the lines that come from things on shrooms coming from the center of my vision, usually with a different lightness tone (looking at a white wall, I can see grey waves) but also with colors at times. At high doses of acid I saw more 'less connected colors'. Instead of objects shifting and creating more colors like on shrooms, I see new objects with their own colors. I tripped acid on sunday, and when I was going to sleep I looked at the ceiling and it looked like the sky because it was full of stars, constantly changing from blue to green and back to white.

Also, acid is certainly in your head, but for me not the the extent of shrooms. I feel very connected with my surroundings on shrooms, and feel that my head and body are very heavily constrained by that connection. On acid I seem to be above the rest of the world, floating by on my own accord, having my own fun. Thats if you are enjoying the acid, if not then you probably will feel very uncomfortable. A very important thing to keep in mind with acid is that it lasts about 12 hours, which is twice as long as a shroom trip.

For me, acid is less 'in my head', but the visuals and trip are significantly different. If you are curious about acid, I suggest you try it (low dose at first, of course). There is no other way to know if you like it or not.

i found shrooms to be more intense than acid altho we only get pissy microdots that arent that strong so maybe i havent really experienced acid yet

With acid you hallucinate, but not in a way that you think. Usually I dont see jellyfish pop out of nowhere, you know what I mean. Patterning, walls bubbling, paintings coming alive, everything looks foreign. Its an excellent experience. Ive never experienced mindfuck with acid. Acid trips are usually longer lasting (you will feel the effects for 10-16 hours after initial dose). Mushrooms or acid, thats a tough question... So many enjoyable experiences with both substances.


Mushroom goods = shorter trip, feels less heavy on the body after you trip, decent visuals, feeling of spiritual refreshment the next day.

Acid goods = easy dose (just put a blotter on your tounge, none of eating this disgusting mushroom shit that tastes like stale pumpkin seeds), excellent visuals (patterning, shifting walls, melting, loss of ego), sence of satisfaction (or awe) after the trip is complete.

Mushroom bads = Nausea, intense mindfuck, cold/hot flushes.

Acid bads = whole day experience, usually hard to find, expensive as fuck, headache the next day (I get one at usually).

The acid that I've found is not terribly expensive but then again it not terribly strong either. I think that by experiencing acid in these days of super weak hits, I am getting the wrong impression of it.

I prefer the more visual nature of the shroom trip.
The body buzz of acid is what I like about acid.

I have two more hits of the eyes. I know that I'm going to take them both when I dose. The only question is should I eat the gram or two of shrooms that I have as well. I want the acid body buzz with the strong shroom visuals.

Man, I get a crazy body high from shrooms but I only get it on acid if I smoke a lot. Acid just fries my mind.. and I love it! YMMV I suppose...

I find the visual's from Shrooms are more rounded and organic looking like psychedelic plants growing all over the walls where as acid seems to have more straight and jagged edged crystyl geometric patterns and at high doses can produce sort of a Kalidocopic effect which is mind blowing to say the least.. I think really good acid has the potential to get you more fucked than shrooms though I have been real mind fucked from shrooms also three hits of good acid is way more intense then a half qaurter of shrooms and lasts longer..
I'm grabbin some alien heads this weekend and thinking about doing it with some 2c-I for something a little different.. My friend said they were an amazing combo..

Acid shouldn't cause headaches. What form of LSD did you take, how long did it take to come on? Sounds like 5-meo-amt to me.

so like shrooms.. u gotta be careful of set and setitng adn what company u choose to be with while on acid? shrooms kinda scared me :P makes me belives theres somehting much more than wat we see in our everday lives.. and makes me wonder where our mind and spirit go when our bodys die.. i thought that when our bodys die god puts us on a very strong trip.. u go to hell u trip serverly bad for the rest of ur days and in heaven ur on a intense good trip.. scares me that thought.. just a weird thing that came into my mind after shrooms.. well while i was on them :P

hey, i bought some of the eyes as well, im in minnesota. took two on halloween and they were definitely decent. it was my first trip off more than one hit, and i loved it! takin more tomorrow.

Shrooms fucks me up harder then acid does and I have eaten really strong gels. I definately hallucinate alot more on shrooms as well. I prefer mushrooms alot more at any other place besides a rave. I think shrooms create a more stoned feeling and weigh you down. While acid it is quite easy to dance and be in control of your body.

Acid has better visuals, a lot more predominant. And acid plays with bright colors in a way that mushrooms don't. Mushroom OEVs are usually very subtle even on high doses. The mushroom body high can get a lot heavier too because mushrooms make you very lethargic; acid, however, has a weird body load associated with it, but it is also a very energetic high and you don't feel so lazy.

I took two of the eyes last night and went to see The Matrix Revolution. That was completely awesome. The only thing that scared me was the fact that a cop followed me through the theater when I came in. My friend was afew people behind me and he confirmed that I walked past and the cop followed me with his eyes and then started following me down the corridor. I thought I was through until I got to the theater room and lost him in the croud. I was slouched down in my chair and I could see him looking around the room. Finally he just walked out.
