gap in photo log. Two of the antlers fell off under thier own weight. The last one would have too if it had not been resting on the bottom. Here it is. it measures 19" long.
This was grown using Mycobag.com's large wood bag and a Reishi culture syringe from Sporeworks Mycobag

From inoculation to harvest took every bit of 7 months. The substrate block is now very dehydrated or I am sure it would keep on going and going. I will be burying the used block and covering it with fresh material, outdoors of course.

Under what conditions do Reishi grow best? Temp? Humidity?

i see where you guys offer a 4 pack. you guys should offer a multi pack. where you could get 1 rye 1 corn 1 sclerotia forming and 1 wood

that actually sounds like a really good idea, to me. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard for them to work, either ;p

The Reishi mushroom will grow according to the conditions it is given. Two common forms are conk and antler. The antler form grows in response to high CO2 levels. For this grow I started by having a consistent environment high in CO2 with humidity, there were some fresh air exchanges. After a while I changed the conditions wildly from good air flow and humidity to dry stagnant air and back and forth. The gives it that stalagmite look. Like something from a cave.
