You could, but food grade ethanol is expensive as hell.  It's a huge waste to evap a whole bottle of everclear IMO.  Iso is dirt cheap.  Next time I might try denatured ethanol that's used as paint thinner as I've heard ethanol is a better solvent for mescaline than ISO, but that's still more expensive.  ISO is cheap and evaporates quickly at very low temps.

Consider the cost everclear at 190 proof is more expensive and not legal everywhere, including where I am. Iso is safe as long as you allow it to evaporate it completely. If possible you can find 99% iso just make sure not denatured alcohol.

I would have boiled it down then dehydrated it to a tar over iso extract but prefer to drink sludge in a frozen berry smoothie mix.

what about acetone and other solvents? Like limonene for example, that is a good one though not for direct application

Dunno.  Extraction seems something amazing  that removes or really makes easier  the "nausea phase "
But when I will try mescaline for the first time  ( if I will ) I will embrace the whole experience,  good sides and downsides,  munching some nasty dried chips

Yeah the nausea with ISO tar is virtually nonexistent.  I felt dizzy for about 45 minutes, laid down during that phase and just did mindful breathing and it passed.  Other than the mental "the room is spinning" kind of seasick feeling, there was actually ZERO stomach discomfort, which is probably why it was easy not to puke when the nausea hit.

The good thing about alcohol extractions are they are full spectrum, so besides the lack of feeling like shit and tasting something god awful, you're actually not missing out on anything.

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree.
'Which road do I take?' she asked.
'Where do you want to go?' was his response.
'I don't know', Alice answered.
'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'

Does anybody know why my echeveria is doing this? I bought it for $1.50 from walmart. saved its life. It was severely wilted, in a super small plastic pot with compacted completely soaked soil.
It look healthy except some of the leaves, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong there

There are roots coming out of the meristem, they werent there this morning. Very weird

OK guys I just wanted to let everyone know that the Harvest "Super" Moon is tonight and at the same time there's going to be an eclipse where the Earth, Moon and sun will be in total alignment causing a full total eclipse "or Blood Moon".

From how I see it the eclipse will start around 8:00 and will be in total eclipse by around 9:50.

Get your cameras out and wonder in the ancient magic that is the Harvest Moon:awepreciation:

It's exciting for me due to my heritage and Blood Line.

This is a magical time of the year that should be greatly appreciated and celebrated to it's fullest.

I'm gonna have me a few drinks and set outside by the fire and watch it from start to finish offering up some of the better fruits of my harvest to Mother Nature:bow2:

I might pull an all nighter, I have been sleeping in super late and almost made it a couple days in a row now so I may just go for it

About to walk home to grab some food and random stuff I forgot + check my plants. Hopefully I will be back around 8 once its dark.

I was thinking about having a fire too but I barely have any wood. Have a good one bud!

Spacey's got some American Indian in his blood, if I'm not mistaken.

I know the Blood moon happens tonight, but sadly its been overcast like all week around here... It'd be a miracle for me to see it at all. One of you EGers need to get a good set of pictures for me!
