Will this put off a new tip or is just going to keep growing as is? Growth has been just straight up if you look at the base.

Still trying to find a good spot to get some beginner cacti questions answered, I figured this might be a good place to start. I have a multitude of seeds I'd like to get started as well as some cuttings on their way.
Question for experienced cactus growers.. How do you wash repurposed sand? I have a yard full of sand but I have a kennel so its purpose is for the dogs' bathroom. I am considering using it if I can and would rather not buy sand when i literally have so much. I have googled this and found different methods. Wondering what would be sufficient and easy for it, and without spreading filth, ya feel me?
My next question is how necessary is a fungicide when prepping cactus soil for seed germination? The guides I've found talk about dipping the mix in a heavy fungicide solution and keeping a spray bottle of it to maintain coverage with the solution. If it truly is a problem and I should have fungicide on hand, I am wondering if neem will be sufficient, as it is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and insecticidal. I have an abundance of neem seed and neem seed meal available and have researched how to make an extract solution from it, however I haven't found anyone using it for this purpose. Any help appreciated, and also if any of ya'll have any tips for a newbie I am thankful for all advice. I am fascinated by the cacti and will be trying my hand with some peruvian torch, possibly some bridgesii soon
Thanks to any who can help

I don't/wouldn't use sand, plays sand is horrible, but I have heard of people using course sand. But the only sand course enough I can find is at nurseries, and is too pricey for me.
I dont treat my soil, but I do have a copper fungicide and hydrogenperoxide, in case I see something.

Johnny next time your at the lumber yard or hardware store ask if they have #3 and #4 blast sand. Those are the only sizes applicable for cacti and even then #4 is borderline. Sometimes the grit is bigger or smaller. I’ve almost phased it out of my mixes but still add just a tad. One time I accidentally got a bag of #5 and it was way to fine. I used it to fill in low spots in the lawn. The 100# bags are cheap here, I’m thinking due to the sand pits about 1.25 hours away.
Here’s the succulent bouquet I ordered for my soon to be wife. The girl that made it did a mighty fine job not one leaf fell off in transit

That bouquet looks great, I'm sure she'll love it!!!
can I ask how much you paid for it. People always tell me I should "arrange" my plants for better sales, but I just don't have the eye for it. I just like growing them.
Thanks for the advice on the sand, ill go check it out for when people ask me about it. But I'm pretty happy with my soil mix I use these days. Code:

Your soil is definitely working for you, your plants look great. The bouquet was $200 total. It’s very hefty. I really like the variegated looking Haworthia

Will this be a good light for starting seedlings and overwintering cacti?
Congrats Pinedown!

Thanks for the video Karode!
Congratulations Pine!
PS: that disaster with the fungal rot on my loph graft is over. I had to do a lot of cutting to get the rot out but the graft stock (t. Bridgesii) is fine and at least 80% of the loft / pups scabbed over clean and are now starting to put out some small rootlets.
