The green tea creme brûlée!!!!
I had this exact same dish at an Iron Chef's restaurant years ago, and I have no idea why I waited so long to make this recipe. It's incredibly easy, but it's just a little time-consuming, only because of all the refrigeration you have to do.
First, take 1.5 cups heavy cream, 1.5 cups milk, and 1 tablespoon of green tea powder and mix the powder thoroughly in a pot over medium heat (medium low if you are using a gas-range stove). You want to heat until the combination is hot and there is some steam coming out, but never reaches a boiling point.
Once it has reached this state and the green tea powder is mostly dissolved, you should take the pot off the stove and let it cool down.
In the meantime, take 5 egg yolks and half a cup of sugar, and continuously whisk together until the eggs turn into a very pale yellow.
Then, slowly pour the cream/milk/powder combination over the eggs (over a fine strainer, as you do not want any loose green tea powder flakes getting through), and beat together. Only pour a little bit at a time so you don't cook the eggs.
Put it in ramekins and cook at 300 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven for about 40 minutes, until the consistency has become jelly-like. Remember that once it cools down, it will harden up even more.
Depending on the size of the ramekins you use, it can take anywhere from 30-50 minutes.
Let it cool down to room temperature first. Then, put it in the fridge so that the "pudding" can set.
Then, sprinkle an even amount of sugar (about a teaspoon) over each ramekin, and use a blowtorch to melt the sugar. Make sure you take the pudding out of the fridge first, and let it warm up to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before sprinkling sugar on it. Otherwise, the sugar will dissolve into the pudding, and you will not get a good burn on it.
If you do not have a blowtorch or broiler, this by itself will make an excellent pudding. I actually prefer the pudding version over the creme brûlée version myself. It reminds me of a softer panna cotta. And you don't have to go through the whole refrigeration and torching process to make it.
My end creation, and it tasted up practically the same as all the creme brûlées I've had at restaurants:

That's because the French are the masters of creme sauces. And usually their creme sauces are very difficult to replicate. This is one of the easiest French recipes I've ever come across.

Well, yeah. The actual pudding is a light green, and then when you caramelize the top, it turns brown. When you take a bite of it, there's quite a bit of green underneath: https://scontent-b-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10421156_10152378327056881_3340152263119141596_n.jpg?oh=66f0949a3aa4e59085b2b1bbe841e5e1&oe=5513FEF5
Usually when chefs make the green tea creme brûlée, they put tons of berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and garnish on top. Probably to make it look more appetizing--even though the berries does NOT go at all with the flavor profile of the green tea creme brûlée.
