Moisure collecting in almost-done jars
    #2084135 - 11/08/03 03:47 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

Hi, I hope this isn't a silly question, because I did my best searching for an answer and found none

Here is my problem.  A friend of mine has 6 jars that will soon be ready for fruiting.  Almost all jars have been completely taken over by the white monster (a good monster).

Here is when it gets tricky.  The other day I noticed one of his jars were collecting moisture in the form of small water bubbles forming around the sides of the jar.  Today almost all of the jars are showing this "problem".  Is this bad? What does it mean? How do I get rid of it?  I tried loosening his jar lids a little bit to see if that would help, but so far it doesnt look like that changed much.

Any tips?

Thanks in advance!

John

if it's like a condensation it's fine....especially if the cakes are starting to pull away from the sides of the jar. if you look at most growing pictures they tend to all do this.

I had the same thing happen to mine. I think this is common.
