I have seen many strains of psilocybe cubenisis spores on various sites on the web. Some are marked "edibility: toxic, hallucinogenic" while others are unmarked. This confused me, are there strains of p. cubenisis that are non-hallucinogenic, or are they just not labeled as such? Thanks.
All Psilocybe mushrooms are hallucinogenic as far as I know. Of the ones I know Psilocybe cubensis, Psilocybe cyanescens, Psilocybe mexicana. The different strains portray different characteristics, color, size, rate of growth. They merely come from different parts of the world. All Psilocybe cubensis are hallucinogenic.

P. cubensis, P. cyanescens and P. mexicana are not different strains. They are different species in the genera Psilocybe of which there are more than 115 species in the genus.
