What strain is this?

The second picture is my Pes Hawaiians and I am guessing I will be very happy again tomorrow night.

My question is what is the first picture. This may be from a mystery syringe from my very first attempt. The spores came for Hocus-pocus but where not identified.

I know I have made some mistakes with this second batch (some slight and mostly contained cobweb on the PH due to early birth...) but if you can spot anything please let me know.

BTW the large mystery 'shroom weights 15g and is 5" high. I may post picture tomorrow when I can upload again.

My weapon is my mind. Too bad I'm firing blanks.

Hhhmm, I posted the same question 2 days ago.

Here is the answer: There is no way of telling 'strains' apart, as it mostly has to do with where they originated, as they are all P.Cubensis.

Here, I'll go find it, and post a link http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...;o=&fpart=1

I find that I could tell the difference in a Hawaiian strain from others by the color of the mycelium in early developement. It always appeared to have a grayish hazy looking color and appearance prior to getting a stronghold on the substrate and then turning the typical bright white. This always happens with the Hawaiian strain when I use it.
